It's been nearly a month. We went camping; these pictures are from a rainy day in Frankfort, MI. I began graduate school two weeks ago, and started teaching First Year Writing for my Graduate Assistantship at Eastern Michigan University this morning. Grace started Kindergarten yesterday. Writing here is few and far between. Here is a space where years of stories live, and so many of them are stories I've packed up and put away. It no longer feels like home.

YAY! Today was my first day student teaching the first graders. I'm stoked. We have to compare notes : first graders vs first year college students.
